Halloweenfest promises to be a spook-tacular time again this year! Children of all ages can celebrate all things terrifying with pumpkin carving contests, trick-or-treating, and halloween movies held at Gerald R. Ford Hall in the Park Hyatt Resort & Spa. Free ice skating is available from 12:00- 8:00pm on the Black Family Ice Rink.
Schedule of Events
Pumpkin Carving Contest- 12:00-5:00pm
The Pumpkin patch is located at the Zamboni Building adjacent to the Black Family Ice Rink. Carvers can work outside or inside Gerald R. Ford Hall and bring their pumpkin back to registration for judging at 5:00pm. Awards will be presented at 5:30pm at the Grand Staircase.
Family halloween short movies in Haunted Heritage Hall in Village Hall- 12:00- 8:00pm
Trick-Or-Treat Street 5:00-8:00pm
Trick-or-treating at merchants & booths throughout the village
Costume Contest 5:00pm-6:45pm
No registration needed. Judges will roam the village and select the best costumes in the following categories: Children 6yrs and under, 7-12yrs, Adult, Group, Couples. Finalists will receive a necklace from the judges and need to be at the stage for the finals at 6:45pm. Awards will be presented at 7:00pm at the Grand Staircase.
