Lesson One: Start at the Top

Graduates like to say the Ski and Snowboard School at Beaver Creek is the best in the country. Maybe any country. Certainly, it's on the only U.S. Mountain to regularly host the World Cup. And uniquely, even some beginner trails are high on the slopes.

Teaching them young is best, but it's a tall order. Our children's Ski & Snowboard School Instructors are picked for their patience and personality. And each program is geared for age and ability. This year, our littlest guests will have their own gondola outside the Children's Center. Shiny, brand new 8 passenger cars on the Buckaroo Express will whisk them up the hillside to friendly beginner terrain.

For adults, we realize you're on vacation. Enjoy the mountain in good company with one of our instructors. Shy beginner, keen middleweight, lifetime skier, or extreme rider. Whatever your level of confidence, whatever your skill, you'll find the class that stretches you comfortably.
