Lesson One: Start at the Top

Graduates like to say the Ski and Snowboard School at Beaver Creek is the best in the country. Maybe any country. Certainly, it's on the only U.S. Mountain to regularly host the Men's World Cup. And uniquely, even some beginner trails are high on the slopes.

Teaching them young is best, but it's a tall order. Our children's Ski & Snowboard School Instructors are picked for their patience and personality. And each program is geared for age and ability. This year, the Buckaroo Express will whisk our littlest guests up the hillside to The Ranch, a state-of-the-art children’s ski and snowboard school.  The center’s picture windows will allow parents to discreetly view their kids learning to ski and ride on customized slopes designed to facilitate the correct body movements.  Parents can also rest easy knowing their kids will have healthy and fresh food options at lunchtime.  All natural Coleman meat, Horizon organic dairy and a yogurt bar will be served as part of Vail Resorts’ Appetite for Life initiative. 

For adults, we realize you're on vacation. Enjoy the mountain in good company with one of our instructors. Shy beginner, keen middleweight, lifetime skier, or extreme rider. Whatever your level of confidence, whatever your skill, you'll find the class that stretches you comfortably.
