This annual bike race starts and ends in Beaver Creek, taking participants on a scenic ride along the Eagle and Colorado Rivers. Contestants can choose from a 100-mile, 100-kilometer, or 42-mile course. All courses take riders through the Eagle River Valley up the rural setting of Highway 131 and along the Colorado River. Unlike many Colorado 100 rides, the Colorado Eagle River Ride is a flatter course, without a lot of the steep climbing featured in other rides.

The Colorado Eagle River Ride is an important fund-raiser for the Snowboard Outreach Society (or SOS)- a local not-for-profit organization that provides high quality recreation programs to under served youth.
