Join us for the inaugural Oktoberfest Shuffle- a summer compliment to the annual Snowshoe Shuffle held every March. Participants can walk, Nordic walk, hike, or run over their choice of a 5 km course or 10 km course across the scenic trails of Beaver Creek Mountain. As with the Snowshoe Shuffle, all proceeds will benefit the Vail Breast Cancer Awareness Group.

Event Schedule, Details and Registration Information:

Pre-Registration:

Participants pre-register online or at the Beaver Creek Hiking Center, Roxy (Vail or Beaver Creek locations), and Dogma Athletica.

Day-Of Registration:

8:30am- 9:45am: On-site registration begins in Beaver Creek Village next to the ice rink.

Event Schedule:

10:00am- Race starts in Beaver Creek Village.

11:00am- 6:00pm: Oktoberfest Celebration in Beaver Creek Village. Beaver Creek's annual Oktoberfest returns with foot stompin' oom-pah-pah music, unbeatable beer, and wunderbar wurst! Enjoy live entertainment featuring Helmut Fricker and "Trachtenkappelle," a visiting band from Beaver Creek's Sister Resort--Lech Zurs, Austria. Also, don't miss the LA Allstars. *Complimentary beer and bratwursts for all paid participants.

Approximately 4:00pm: A live auction will be held for a trip to Beaver Creek's sister city Lech, Austria. All proceeds will benefit the Vail Breast Cancer Awarness Group.

Entries:

$20 for cancer survivors; $25 per person; $40 per family (up to five people); Children 12 & under free. Day of entries will increase by $5 per category.  Teams and Oktoberfest themes welcomed. All paid participants receive complimentary beer and bratwurst as well as free giveaways.

Parking:

Please park in the Bear Lot at the base of the western entrance to Beaver Creek (across from Agave restaurant). Shuttles will be available to bring you to & from the village and volunteers will be stationed throughout to direct racers to the registration and start area.
