Halloween Festival

Halloweenfest promises to be a spook-tacular time again this year. Children of all ages can celebrate all things terrifying with wagon rides, pumpkin carving contests, trick-or-treating and halloween movies held at Village Hall in the Park Hyatt Resort & Spa.  For more information, please phone (970) 845-9090. 

Tentative Schedule of Events:

In the Plaza!
Noon to 8:00 pm: Free Ice Skating

At the Park Hyatt Resort & Spa
12:00pm-8:00pm: Family halloween short movies. Haunted Heritage Hall in Village Hall.

Pumpkin Carving Contest
12:00-5:00pm: Registration and carving on the plaza or in the Haunted Heritage Hall.
5:00 to 5:30pm: Judging
Entry: $5 for a pumpkin, free if bring your own.
Categories: Adults, children (12 & under).
The Pumpkin patch is located at the Zamboni Building adjacent to the Black Family Ice Rink. Entrants can carve outside or inside Village Hall and bring their pumpkin back to registration for judging. Awards will be presented at 5:30pm at the Grand Staircase.

Trick-Or-Treat Street
5:00-8:00pm: Beaver Creek Plaza Trick-or-treating at merchants & booths throughout the village

Costume Contest
No registration needed
Roaming Judging: 5:00pm-6:45pm
Entry: Free
Categories: 6yrs and under,7-12yrs, Adult, Group, Couples
Finalists will receive a necklace from the judges and need to be at the stage for the finals at 6:45pm. Awards will be presented at 7:00pm at the Grand Staircase.

The Haunted ChopHouse
The Beaver Creek Chophouse comes alive with all things spooky for the Benefit of the Eagle Valley Charter Academy.  Explore the Haunted Chophouse (suitable for ages 6 and up)
When: October 25- 27, 5:00pm- 9:00pm nightly
Where: Beaver Creek Chophouse front lawn
Admission: $8 per person
